Best wedding car hire in Perth is always the option of brides and grooms who want to make a statement. Even if hiring a stretch limousine is considered luxurious by many people, it is actually a practical choice because the car can seat as many as 14 to 15 people all the same time. The couple saves from the costs of hiring several cars because one limousine is wide enough for a group of people. However, a lavish wedding in Australia is criticized for its extreme luxury.
Deputy Mayor of Auburn Salim Mehajer called it the Best Wedding in Australia but it seems that most residents were not impressed. When the deputy mayor got married in a lavish ceremony, it included four helicopters, a fleet of stretch limousines, luxury cars that included a Ferrari and several Lamborghinis, a squad of motorcycles and a large group of police.
Mr. Mehager arrived at the local park in a helicopter with the wedding entourage where they stepped in a freshly rolled red carpet. From the park, the groom travelled with a fleet of limousines worth $50 million to his bride’s home in Frances Street, Lidcombe.
At the height of the celebration, performers banged on large drums and there was a jet flyover and a plane that towed a sign announcing the nuptials with a love heart. Former NRL football player John Hopoate provided the security while the bride, groom and their respective families danced on the streets to celebrate.
Residents were warned through a letterbox drop that they have to keep the streets clear of their vehicles otherwise; it will be towed and removed for illegal parking. On the other hand, the police were not notified and they were not officially involved in the wedding except for traffic and crowd control.
Residents were certainly pissed off and they ignored the warning letter particularly since the police said that the wedding revelry could not block the streets without any council approval. Auburn councilor Irene Simms said that they wish Mr. Mehager happiness on his wedding but this is not the proper way to make friends with residents. The happy groom did not seem put off by all the complaints.
